In April 2023, what started as a craving became a movement.
Our founder wasn’t searching for a business idea — she was hunting for a dessert that felt unforgettable. Something nostalgic yet new, playful yet premium. That’s when she came across the magical pairing of taiyaki (those cute, fish-shaped Japanese waffles) and creamy soft-serve swirls. But in India? No one was doing it — not the way it deserved to be done.
So, she brought it here. But not as a copycat. She built Tai Tai Creamery from the ground up, reimagining taiyakis and soft-serves for Indian tastebuds, using only fresh and premium ingredients.
From our first store in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, people lined up — not just for the dessert, but for the experience: bold, rotating flavors like cereal milk, spice chai, mango, and limited-edition experiments, all piped into freshly grilled Tais, crispy and golden at the edges.
Today, Tai Tai Creamery stands as India’s first premium soft-serve and taiyaki brand, proudly expanding across cities and building a community that’s obsessed with what we swirl next. It’s already the best ice cream in Hyderabad, having served +1 Lakh customers in a year, and soon it plans to swirl all over the world.
